Call screening

She screens the
calls you don't
want to take.

Spam, robocalls and the fourth vendor this week selling you advertising never reach you. The customer behind them does.

How it works.

01

Spam and robocalls

Recorded messages, auto-diallers and the ones that hang up when somebody answers. They stop at her, and you never hear about them.

02

Vendor and sales calls

The insurance rep, the SEO agency, the supplier you've never heard of. She takes their details if you want them and gets rid of them if you don't.

03

Your rules, not a generic filter

You decide what counts as worth interrupting you. Some owners want every vendor logged; some want them gone. Both are a setting we agree before go-live.

04

The real ones come straight through

A customer is never mistaken for a sales call. Screening is about what reaches you, never about making a caller work to prove themselves.

A screened call is worth as much as an answered one.

Most owners underestimate how much of the phone is not customers. Between robocalls, suppliers, agencies and the people who found you on a business list, a real proportion of your ringing phone has nothing to do with revenue.

Every one of those is an interruption while you're under a hood or with a client, and the cost is not the ninety seconds. It's that after enough of them you stop picking up unknown numbers, and then you miss the customer too.

She takes all of it, so the only calls that reach you are the ones you'd have wanted.

Vendors are not automatically the enemy.

Some of the vendors calling you are worth talking to, and blanket-blocking them is its own mistake. So it's your rule.

She can log every vendor who calls, with who they were and what they wanted, into the same summary you get for everything else — so you can go back through them on a Friday when you have twenty minutes, rather than being interrupted twelve times a week.

Or she can tell them you're not interested. Both are fine. What she doesn't do is decide for you.

What it costs

Included on every plan, from $89 a month.

There is no tier where this is switched off. The only thing that changes between plans is how much phone you have.

  • Starter · 100 min, ~40 calls $89 /mo
  • Small · 250 min, ~100 calls $175 /mo
  • Standard · 500 min, ~200 calls $300 /mo
  • Busy · 1,000 min, ~400 calls $500 /mo
  • High Volume · 2,000 min, ~800 calls $850 /mo

Common questions

The things people ask.

Does it block spam calls?

It answers them and ends them, which from your side is the same thing: your phone doesn't ring and nothing lands in your messages.

Robocalls and auto-diallers generally give themselves away in the first few seconds, and she doesn't waste your time on them.

What happens to vendor and sales calls?

Whatever you tell us. The two normal setups are 'log them and tell them we'll be in touch' or 'politely get rid of them.'

Either way you get the summary, so you can see who's been calling without having taken the call.

Could it screen out a real customer by mistake?

It's set up so that the doubt always resolves in the caller's favour — if she isn't sure, the call is treated as a real one and you get it.

Screening decides what interrupts you. It's not a gate a customer has to argue their way through.

Do I still find out who called?

Yes. Screened calls appear in your summaries and transcripts like everything else, marked as what they were. Nothing disappears silently.

The next call is already on its way.

Half an hour is enough to know whether she'd work for you.
