A Goodcall
alternative,
built for you.
Goodcall is software you set up and maintain yourself. We build yours around your business and keep it current. Here's the comparison, with their published prices.
The difference in one line
You configure theirs. We build yours.
Goodcall is a self-serve product. You sign up, you write the logic flows, you keep them current, and when your prices change in March it's on you to remember. That is a completely legitimate way to sell software, and for an owner who enjoys that kind of thing it's the cheaper answer.
We build yours around your hours, services, prices and transfer rules before it goes live, then sit down with you every two weeks and go through the real calls together. You text us when something changes and we change it. Nobody on your side opens a dashboard.
If you have the time and the inclination to run it yourself, theirs costs less. If the reason you're reading this is that you already have no time, that's the whole argument.

Common questions
Choosing between the two.
What do I get for the difference in price?
A receptionist built around your business instead of one you configure. Your hours, services, prices, transfer rules and the wording a caller hears, set up before it goes live.
Then it stays current without you. You text us when something changes and we change it, and we sit down with you every two weeks and go through the real calls together. Goodcall is priced as software because that upkeep is yours.
What does "billed on unique callers" mean?
Goodcall counts distinct phone numbers in a month rather than minutes. A caller who rings four times costs the same as one who rings once, and a long call costs the same as a short one.
Which model is kinder depends on your phone. Lots of short calls from new people favours minutes; a few long calls from regulars favours unique callers. Tell us your numbers and we'll do the arithmetic honestly, including when it goes their way.
Can I get a bilingual receptionist from either?
Ours answers in English or Spanish on the same number with nothing to press, and switches mid-call if the caller does. That is included in every plan.
Goodcall's pricing page doesn't state how Spanish is handled, so we won't characterise it. Ask them directly if it matters to you, because in this market it usually does.
I manage property. Does that change the answer?
Yes, quite a lot. A maintenance call isn't a booking — it's a work order that has to be logged, dispatched to the right vendor, checked that somebody actually showed up, and escalated to a human when it's water coming through a ceiling.
That's a build, not a setting, and it's priced by door count rather than by the minute. The property management page has the detail.
The next call is already on its way.
Half an hour is enough to know whether she'd work for you.
